Tom McDonald, Ballymackesey and formerly Barrystown, Wellington-bridge passed away on Monday 25th September 2017, much to the regret of his fellow historians across County Wexford and in particular the members of Bannow Historical Society. Tom was a writer and an orator as well as being an avid historian and his great and valuable contributions about Bannow will be treasured for all time. We will miss his weekly blogs to which we looked forward to so much every Sunday night. No doubt he will still keep an eye on all that we do in the future. May Tom now rest in peace.
